Second shot for Liv Frueh Photography
I've been shooting weddings for almost six years and here are a few things I've learned that I'd love to tell my brides.
1. Allow enough time in your timeline for everything. Take into consideration travelling from different venues, people running behind, forgetting something, etc.
2. Consider using one venue. I personally think it makes it so much easier!
3. Do your wedding the way YOU want to. It's not your mom's wedding, your best friend's, etc. You hopefully will only get married once. Make sure you have the wedding of your dreams. The amount of people I've talked with who wished they would've done their wedding differently is very sad.
4. Have a backup plan for weather. Make sure your venue would allow you to change it inside in case of bad weather, especially in the summer during heat advisories or with rain.
5. Cheap veils are the way to go. Some brides have been successful finding a cheap veil from Amazon, and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. You don't need an expensive veil from a bridal store, you can get a pretty one off of Amazon or somewhere cheaper...
