Last weekend I shot my older sister Kyra's engagement session. I almost cried editing her photos because time flies so fast. I can remember back in March of 2019 when she first started dating Josh. I wasn't too happy my older sister got a boyfriend, but I liked Josh as soon as I met him. He was the older brother I never had, and I'm excited to finally have a brother after growing up with all sisters. He let me third wheel with them when I didn't have a good friend group and was patient to listen to me talk about my broken heart after breakups. He's made Kyra so happy. The way he clearly adores Kyra and the way they both became stronger in their faith as their relationship progressed has been so cool to see. I've loved seeing who they've become as they've grown together. And let's be real-it's pretty cool she's marrying her first love, and the blue eyed boy she's been in love with for the past five years.
