My morning starts at 5:30 A.M. I get up and read the Bible and spend time praying. I try to do twenty minutes in the Word, and twenty minutes in prayer. My faith has always been a big part of my life.
After devotions, I eat breakfast. Sometimes it is a protein bar. Other times I make my aunt's homemade granola recipe. I get ready for my day, and try to start work by 7 A.M.
During busy season I will work on editing and prepping for weddings. I also catch up on emails and work on marketing. During the winter months, I focus more on social media, web design, blogging, education, etc.
I still prefer eating lunch early. For me this looks like 11 A.M. Lunch varies each week. I'm always a big fan of cooking in my crockpot since it is easy. Sometimes lunch is pasta, soup, chicken, salad, etc.
I end work around 1:30 depending on my day. After work, I either work out, read a book, spend time with friends, or journal. I'm trying to run thirteen miles as I know it is good for my mental health, and it feels so good to accomplish something. Books I read vary from business books to mental health to romantic fiction. Hanging out with friends looks like getting dinner, meeting up for coffee, doing photo sessions, etc.
I eat supper around 4 P.M. This is usually my down time after being on my laptop in my office all day. I go to bed around 9:30 P.M., and my favorite way to relax before bed is reading a good book cuddled up with my weighted blanket as I leave my essential oil diffuser running. I prefer lavender essential oil for its calming effect.
